This question seems to be a loaded one from the topics tagged (as of my commenting, “stupidity” and “stubbornness” — but these may be removed once I post my comment)!
So I’d prefer not to put a formal answer.
But the descriptions that come to my mind are:
“I guess s/he’s still living and eating off mama.”
“They must be independently wealthy, that’s nice.”
“They’re training others to mooch off creativity and talent.”
“Being passionate is good. Being poor is not good. Being poor to the point where you can no longer survive on passion or feel passionate at all is very, very bad.”
